Coconut Glazed Cinnamon Sugar Donuts
Are you a donut person?? I would have NEVER called myself a donut person until recent. I ordered this donut pan from Amazon and baked donuts are my jam now. This is one of the first donut recipes I've tried and I was so happy with how it turned out. They are easy, tasty, and dairy free! Coconut Glazed Cinnamon Sugar Donuts
Ingredients:
Donut
2 cups flour (I did 1 cup almond, 1 cup pastry)
1 tbs coconut flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 scoops Collagen (always optional - use code "LabbyRae10" for 10% off your first order)
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 cup homemade cashew milk
2 tbs coconut oil
2 tsp vanilla
1 egg lightly beaten
Frosting
3 tbs melted coconut oil
1/2 tsp Coconut sugar
Lots of Cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately. Lightly beat the egg in the wet ingredients then mix all together in a bowl.
Scoop batter into donut pan filling each about 3/4 the way full, bake for 15-17 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool completely and melt the coconut oil with the cinnamon and coconut sugar and cover each donut and enjoy!
