Quick and Easy Overnight Oats
I don’t know about you guys but I am always in search of some new meal prep ideas. Especially during the week when I really don’t have much time to make a healthy and filling breakfast every morning. A friend told me what she makes and I tried it out on my own...now I can’t stop making them. Not only are these mason jar overnight oats delicious, but since I started making them I’ve felt so much more energized! I make these all at once and let them sit in the fridge. I will just grab one each morning before work!
Mason Jar Overnight Oats
1/4 cup of steel cut oats
1 TB of ground flax seed
1 TB of shelled hemp seeds
1-2 TB of Chia Seeds
1 TB of Vital Proteins Collagen Powder
1 TB of Peanut Butter
Top with some fruit (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries)
Sprinkle in some cinnamon
Fill the mason jar with water
This recipe is seriously so simple and way more filling than any egg breakfast I’ve ever had. I am so happy I was introduced to this recipe and I wanted to share it with you all to try! If you like it a little creamier, try using coconut or almond milk instead of water. I don’t add any sweetener to it but honey would be delicious in it as well!
