AÇAÍ Bowl Recipe

Açaí bowls have been around for many years and have become all the rage. I'm completely hooked on them but the only problem with ordering out is that they're so expensive! I've heard that some grocery stores sell the frozen açaí mixture but I can never find it at my grocery store. So I decided to buy the açaí powder and make my own bowls! Below is the recipe that I make, the best part about it is that it's so easy to change and make it to your liking!

 

AÇAÍ Bowl Recipe

  • Blend together the following:

    • 1 cup of ice

    • 1 banana 

    • 1/2 cup of coconut milk (or any milk of your choice) 

    • 1 TB of Açaí Powder

    • 1 TB of Peanut Butter

  • Pour this mixture into a bowl and choose your toppings, I topped this bowl with the following:

    • 1 TB Chia Seeds

    • 1 TB ground Flax Seed

    • 1 TB shelled Hemp Seeds

    • 2 TB Granola (I really like Purely Elizabeth's granola)

    • Top with any fruit that you have - strawberries, blueberries, banana, etc. 

Each time I make this, I make it a little bit different. I change up the fruit or leave out the peanut butter. You can also add honey if you want it a little bit sweeter, but I think the Açaí powder and fruit are sweet enough!
